No. You can use any landline, cell or, smartphone.
No. We’ve designed our website to make it easy to use on desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
From your Assuratel home page, simply enter your message in the “Reminder Message” box. You can also select the “Remind Daily” checkbox if you want the message repeated every day.
It depends on how you check‑in. If you call us or if we call you, you will be read the reminder message on the phone. If you check‑in using a text message, we will text you back with the reminder message. If you check‑in using the Assuratel website, we will display the message prominently on your screen.
The only personal information we need is the phone number that we’ll use for your daily calls and an emergency contact phone number.
Use the “Settings” menu option at the top of this screen and enter your new password in the “Change Your Password” field. Re-enter your password in the “Confirm New Password” field.
We will call you every day at the time you choose. You only have to answer the call and press “1”. You can also add a backup phone number that we will try if you don’t answer your main phone number. Useful if you want us to call your cellphone if you don’t answer your home phone. You can also check‑in before your scheduled call, and we won’t call you that day.
There are several ways you can use to check‑in early. You can call or text from either your main or backup phone to our phone number: (224) 228-1776. When using text messaging, the message can be anything, even a single random letter. You can also use our website to check‑in. Go to your Assuratel home page and use the “Check‑In Now” button. Another way of checking-in is by your emergency contact. They can check‑in for you by going to their home page and using the “Check‑In Now” button. You will receive an email when you have been checked‑in this way.
Yes. You can check‑in from any phone in the world. Call us at (224) 228-1776 and enter your PIN to check‑in or pause your daily calls. To set your PIN, use the “Settings” menu option at the top of this screen. Use the “Click or tap here for your advanced settings” link and fill in the “Remote Access PIN” field.
Use the “Settings” menu option at the top of this screen. You can then select the time you would like us to call you. You can also choose how many times we will try to call you if you don’t answer. You pick how much time to allow between call attempts.
Your emergency contact will be notified and asked to check up on you. Contacts are alerted by a phone call, a text message or an email. We can use any or all of those methods to notify them; the choice is yours and theirs.
Yes. Use the “Settings” menu option at the top of this screen. Go to your advanced settings to set the Emergency Call Delay. We will delay calling your emergency contact for the amount of time you select. You can check-in any time during this delay period. If you still haven’t checked-in after the delay, we will try calling you one more time and then alert your emergency contact if you didn’t answer.
Use the “Pause Your Daily Calls” button on your Assuratel home page. You can pause calls starting immediately or any dates in the future.
An emergency contact is a person or organization that is concerned about your well-being. We will contact them if you miss a day’s check‑in.
You can have up to 5 emergency contacts.
Click the “Settings” menu item at the top of this screen. Then use the “Click or tap here for emergency contact advanced settings” link near the bottom of the screen. On the next screen, you will see a “Add A New Contact” button. Use that button to add up to 4 additional contacts.
For your convenience, you can click here to add another contact.
The first 30 days are free. After that, we offer two plans. For the best value, you can pay $99.00 for an entire year (around 27¢ a day). You can also go month to month for $12.50 per month.
No. You can cancel at any time.
You can use any type of card. Use the “Payments” menu option at the top of this screen. We use a trusted third party’s secure online payment system for billing. Assuratel never has access to your credit card information.
